Bird sounds, Joy, mindfulness, Moonlight, Nature's gifts can heal, Night, Pinterest photo- Michael Botkins, poetry by Yu/stan/kema, Sorrow and pain

Darkness falls with the coming of the night,

And the moon rises with a soft white light.

Birds twitter putting their young to sleep,

As insects, through the green leaves, creep.

Found on Pinterest on 10-11-16. Michael Botkins. Moonlight Nights. Saved from Kamyab. lr.

The night wind blows softly across my face,

And solitude wraps me in her warm embrace.

Although my heart lies heavy in my chest,

I make the time to take a needed rest.

Even though life holds pain and sorrow,

Nature’s gifts bring joy on the morrow.

All that’s needed is a mindful stance,

And giving Nature’s gifts a chance.

A BAND OF BROTHERS.

Found on Pinterest on 7-21-18. Sarah Carol Ann Broaddus saved to wars(Vietnam).

We are a band of brothers

And we stand strong.

We look out for each other

Even though the days are long.

We are a band of brothers

Who don’t accept defeat.

We have fought in many battles

On land and in the street.

We are a group of men

From all walks of life.

Our skins are different colors,

And we fight with guns and knifes

We fight for truth and justice,

And the right to live free,

So others can be treated

With respect and dignity.

We fight our foes in battle.

We’re aware that we might die,

But we watch out for each other,

And we’re not afraid to cry.

We have seen our brothers fall

In battle as we fight.

When we have to close their eyes,

We know war isn’t right.

We are taught to follow orders,

To get the job done,

To achieve different tasks

Until the battle is won.

We are a band of brothers,

In life and in death.

We will always feel connected

Until our last breath.

Found on Pinterest on 7-19-18. My soul landscapes. paysages de l’ame-colecoes.. Google+.

On the grasses and trees.

The blazing days of summer

Can bring you to your knees.

The wheat grows tall

And the corn taller still.

In the state of Kansas,

You can hear the whippoorwill.

The sun paints the sky

With shades of pink and yellow.

Cows lie down beside

Wild flowers in the meadow.

Night comes slowly

With the dying of the light.

Peace comes quickly

As the stars shine bright.

Sounds of the insects

Can cause your eyes to close.

God laughs softly

When you start to doze.

life, Pinterest photo, poetry by Yu/stan/kema, The ups and downs of living.

Life seems to be an endless

Cycle of events.

Some days you swear it all

Doesn’t make any sense.

There are days when it seems

Found on Pinterest on 7-24-17.

Things come together well

And life appears to be

Like a happy fairy tale.

Then there are times

When it all falls apart,

And you are left coping

With a shattered heart.

It is hard to keep a balance

Of the good and the bad,

And yet remain stable

When tears make you sad.

Just when you have it all,

Life throws you a curve.

You try to keep on going

And hope you keep your nerve.

You pull yourself together

And learn to say good-bye.

You hope you find meaning

In life before you die.

Learning A Lesson About Pain.

Denying emotions, Learning Life's lessons., Letting go piece by piece of pain., Locking up tears, pain, Pinterest photo- Zara, poetry by Yu/stan/kema, sorrow

In my early childhood,

I learned to swallow

the terrible sounds

of my own sorrow.

Found on Pinterest on 2-10-16. Zara.

I thought If I denied

these painful feelings,

I could prevent the

brunt of Life’s stings.

But all I did was build

a pile of my emotions,

and believe the lies

of past distortions.

I could not bear to touch

my tears that fell like rain,

so I locked them up and

refused to feel the pain.

If only I had learned

to let go peace by piece,

I know that over time,

this pain would cease.

Dedication:” For she who teaches me by her actions that Christ has risen.”                  -Yu/stan/ kema-

JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE.

He is my loving Savior.

Found on Pinterest on 9-18-16. Plfoto-co1.

He is my gentle king.

He sees me through life’s storms.

Christ is my everything.

Christ sends the April rain

So my gardens can survive.

He sends the rays of sunlight

To keep my plants alive.

He renews my tired spirit

When life becomes too much.

He gives me His gift

Of comforting with touch.

He whispers words of comfort

And guides me on my way.

He lets me know I’m not alone

Each and every day.

On this day of Easter,

I’ll tell  others who will listen:

“I’m happy Jesus is alive

And that He has risen.”

When you have too much love,

And you have too much hope,

You can end up battered,

And find you can’t cope.

Found on Pinterest on 4-6-17. My Own Little WorlDm. ff.com/worldk2.

When evil is winning

And good’s tossed aside,

Your soul trembles

From tears left inside.

When you search for answers

That you cannot find,

Try looking in side you.

They lay in your mind.

You’ve fought a great battle

Over the years.

You have to accept how

To live with your tears.

You have a kind spirit,

You believe in the good.

Even when hurting,

You say a good word.

When you feel disappointed,

Your heart breaks in two.

The pain ends up taking

A big piece of you.

But Love can feel great,

And giving brings pleasure.

Yet, Love can bring sorrow,

And pain beyond measure.

Oh fly, fly little baby,

Fly, fly little one.

When the pain hurts too much,

Let go when day is done.

Rise up on wings of fairy dust

Found on Pinterest on 12-17-16. Stephen Hayward. Stars.

And dance among the stars.

Say hello to Venus,

And wave good-bye to Mars.

Lay back against the crescent moon,

And God will rock you to sleep,

As the angels sing you a lullaby

That would make a grown man weep.

The world can be a scary place

When you are small and alone.

Let God’s finger point the way

To a home you can call your own.

Don’t let go of the Hope inside.

Reach out with your tiny hand.

Trust in others to see you through

To find peace in the Promised Land.

A Spiritual Dilemma.

Meeting self needs, Meeting Spiritual needs, Meeting the needs of others., poetry by Yu/stan/kema, Spiritual dilemmas.

I saw an old woman who was

Walking down the street.

Her face had wrinkles,

And her smile was sweet.

Her legs were supported

By an old steel cane.

You could tell she hurt,

For her eyes reflected pain.

She held her head high,

Wanted people to see,

She didn’t need their pity

But respect, like you and me.

She gave them a nod

And said a soft ” hello.”

They quickly looked away,

And  stared at their toes.

Not a word did they speak,

As they walked away from her.

She held her tears within

And felt her eyes blur.

She had gone to a Clinic,

Where she held a child’s hand.

She gave her some comfort

And promised to stand

By her side and be there,

To help her with pain,

To see her through surgery,

And talk with her again.

When she left the Clinic,

She walked down the street a ways.

She saw a poor man sitting,

Slumped, in a daze.

She reached inside her purse

And took out a piece of pie,

That was wrapped in a sack

And saw a grown man cry.

When she went home that night,

She ate her meal alone.

No one reached out to her

On the telephone.

She wondered why she was alive,

Why no one seemed to care,

Or miss her when she was gone.

Why was life not fair?

Why did she feel so guilty

Wanting so much more?

Perhaps life is sacrifice.

What was she waiting for?

We Have A Choice To Make.

Choices we make., For our Country's sake, Good or evil., poetry by Yu/stan/kema, Saving lives., Selling one's soul for cash.

There is a storm growing

In the hearts of those who grieve,

The disrespect of all we hold

Most sacred and believe.

The wanton destruction of

Our parks and forest trails,

Shows no regard for people’s needs

Or Mother Nature’s wails.

The loss of dignified discourse

Replaced with angry words,

Leads to the need to win, divide

Others left unheard.

The rights of women and the poor

Are simply cast aside.

Cost containment is the goal.

Who cares “who lived or died.”

The cost of saving someone’s life,

Means nothing to them,

Who have sold their souls for cash,

Yet claim they follow Him.

Someday we’ll have to make a choice

Which road our Country takes:

To be a force for evil/good.

We can’t make a mistake.
